A Win is a Win

Sorry I didn't update on the blog last week. Lots of stuff going on.

OK, for this week.

Since Mike got married this weekend, we will give him another pass for this weekend.

Let's all pray for the coaches this week.

I listened to the game on the radio Saturday, obviously. At first, I was very nervous, as I am sure the rest of you were. However, after a bit, our boys for rolling. I don't know about you, but I will take it. I have 2 college teams I root for actively. My Auburn Tigers and then my Southern Miss Golden Eagles. As miserable as Auburn's season has been, Southern Miss hasn't won a game. The high school where I teach won a grand total of 2 games this year. My redeeming team has been the other high school I root for, McGill-Toolen CHS in Mobile, AL. They are headed to the playoffs off of a perfect season so far.

I noticed earlier that Jermaine Whitehead tweeted an excellent bible verse:

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. (Romans 12:12 NIV)

I hope you all have a wonderful week.

  1. First, I would like to congratulate Mike on his marriage. May you and your wife be blessed in God's love and happiness forever.

Secondly, I want to add that today I found out about the Father of Greg Robinson who died just 4 days after the annual A-Day game this past April. That brings the total number of deaths surrounding this team to 5, that we know of. Prayers are indeed warranted anytime, but never more so needed by an Auburn football team than now.
